Northorpe and Thurlby Volunteers Returns
Hi all, well we had a good run didn’t we? Although it seems life will never return to “normal”, whatever that was, I think we have all found a new ways of dealing with life during the pandemic. Now, however, is the time to shut ourselves away again and, in the words of our PM, “Stay Home, Save Lives and Protect the NHS.” The gallant band of volunteers has reformed and are all ready and poised to help out the vulnerable and shielding residents of the villages. To be honest, we never totally went away and a few of us have been helping out some of the most vulnerable in the village all the way through, a big shout of thanks to Lisa Lowe, Mandy Owen and Deb Allen in particular, who I know have all gone above and beyond throughout the last 6 months.
